Summary

Executive Committee

The executive committee comprises the coordinator, the project manager, the heads of the three departments, and the managers for training, internationalisation, finance, and communications. Coordinated by the coordinator, the committee meets as needed and serves as the operational body responsible for LiRiC’s day-to-day activities.

Steering Committee

The steering committee comprises the executive committee, laboratory directors, department directors, external partners, and support services. Coordinated by the coordinator, it meets at least once a year and is responsible for defining LiRiC’s development priorities in research and training.

Scientific Committee

The scientific committee comprises the coordinator, the heads of the three departments, international experts, laboratory representatives, and the head of internationalization. Its mission is to assess and evaluate research activities; propose guidelines; provide input on responses to calls for projects—particularly drawing on international expertise; initiate collaboration and development initiatives; and oversee the organization of scientific events. Coordinated by the heads of the fields on a rotating basis among the three fields, the committee meets as needed.

Training Council

The training council comprises the coordinator, the heads of the three departments, the training manager, representatives from the laboratories, the internationalization manager, and the doctoral schools. Its mission is to ensure proper coordination and evaluation of training activities, including overseeing the organization of summer schools and doctoral seminars, providing input on internship grants and student mobility, and managing the allocation of doctoral research grants (with support from the research committee when needed). The council is coordinated by the training manager and the internationalization manager and meets as required.
