Overview
The LiRiC Interdisciplinary Thematic Institute at the University of Strasbourg conducts interdisciplinary research and develops projects that integrate research, training, and partnerships with institutional, voluntary, and cultural organizations.
In this context, LiRiC is seeking a Master’s-level intern to contribute to several initiatives focused on inclusion, disability, discrimination, and participatory approaches.
This proposed internship is part of the work carried out by the OPUS group “Rencontre Université Organisation.” The group combines event organisation, a participatory research project focused on gender-based discrimination linked to disability, and discussions on establishing a resource centre for the University’s partners.

An internship as part of the APHABIAL, APHAsie – BILinguisme – ALsace project, focusing on the clinical trial, scientific evaluation, and development of a digital prototype.

This proposed internship tackles the issue of health equity by considering the linguistic and socio-cultural specificities of a regional population. Its goal is to develop and validate assessment tools that are linguistically and culturally appropriate - a critical but still underdeveloped area for regional languages. By doing so, it seeks to enhance the quality of diagnoses and optimize care pathways. Ultimately, the internship contributes to the recognition of regional languages - and, by extension, their speakers - within the medical field, aligning with global efforts to expand access to assessment tools in languages beyond English.

Financial support of up to €4,000 may be granted for projects in incubation or in progress. If your application involves temporary staff or equipment, requests must be submitted before May 1 or September 30.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, subject to the budget available for the current year.
