Description of the call
This programme aims to support internships within the framework of interdisciplinary projects aligned with the ITI LiRiC themes.
Eligibility criteria
The requested means only concern the internship gratification for a duration of 1 to 6 months (924 hours maximum, according to the legislation).
As an indication, the hourly rate on 01/01/2026 is €4.50. For more information, visit the website of the Service Public.
The application must present an intern candidate.
At least one of the academic supervisors must be part of a LiRiC associated team.
Selection criteria
The main ranking criterion will be the excellence of the proposals and the candidate.
Particular attention will be paid to the development of the LiRiC project (development of interactions between ITI partners, international collaborations).

Internship title: Inclusion of Multilingual Students – Solidarity and Multilingual Cafés (Axis 2/3)

Summary
This internship is part of the project “Inclusion of Multilingual Students – Solidarity and Multilingual Cafés” within Axis 2/3.
The project aims to explore the experiences of multilingual students in relation to language practices at the university, particularly in connection with the ideology of monolingualism; the hierarchization and minorization/majorization of languages; positive or negative representations and attitudes toward languages; issues of well-being or, conversely, ill-being; and the management of interculturality.
Beyond its research objectives, the project also seeks to create safe spaces and communities of practice and solidarity that interact and reinforce feelings of inclusion, well-being, and language awareness, and that may contribute to improving the practice of French. The project could result in the development of a guide to good practices for managing multilingualism aimed at university or higher education staff and, in the long term, be integrated into the university’s communication strategy and its CSR policy.
After the first year of implementation, and based on student feedback collected through questionnaires and interviews, it will be possible to assess students’ needs, evaluate the impact of the cafés, and explore additional strategies and activities, with a view to developing a guide to best practices at a later stage.
Internship title: DRM-VIF: Risk Detection through the Identification of Discursive Markers in Hearings of Minors Who Are Victims of Domestic Violence (Axis 3)

Summary
This internship is part of the project “DRM-VIF: Risk Detection through the Identification of Discursive Markers in Hearings of Minors Who Are Victims of Domestic Violence” under Axis 3.
The project falls within the fields of sociology and linguistics applied to criminology, in connection with child protection. It focuses on the linguistic analysis of 42 interviews with minors who are victims of domestic violence, collected during judicial investigations conducted by the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPF) in Strasbourg.
The objective is to detect discursive markers of risk or trauma by combining textometric and qualitative analyses. The study is based on the use of TXM, Sketch Engine, and TreeTagger, as well as a field journal.
The project aims to complement the NICHD protocol used by law enforcement by offering a sociolinguistic perspective on how children verbalize experiences of violence.
Internship title: How Does Morphological Awareness Influence Text Comprehension in French as a Foreign/Second Language among Young Persian Speakers Recently Arrived in French-Speaking Europe (CoMCoFLE) (Axis 2)

Summary
The scientific objective of this project is to determine the extent to which morphological awareness serves as a lever for the development of text comprehension among Persian speakers learning French as a foreign or second language, as well as among native French speakers.
The project is of particular interest due to its interdisciplinary approach to the study of written second/foreign language (L2/FL) learning, which is a key factor in the educational and social inclusion of immigrant and newly arrived populations in French-speaking countries. Psycholinguistic research in this area remains limited, and, to our knowledge, the language configuration examined in this study (Persian–French) has not previously been explored.

Summary
Issues related to research with and for society, participation, and transdisciplinarity are central to the work of the OPUS cluster (Open University of Strasbourg) at the University of Strasbourg. The cluster’s mission is to encourage and support the co-construction of projects between the university and society and to open the process of scientific knowledge production to a wider public.
To this end, the OPUS cluster develops and facilitates thematic communities and science–society think tanks aimed at co-constructing research, training, or action projects that contribute to shaping the territory of tomorrow.
