The quality and consistency of the bibliographic metadata associated with these collections are essential to ensuring their accessibility and promotion.
The internship aims to use natural language processing methods to improve the identification of documents in Alsatian based on bibliographic metadata from the Alsatiques collection, and to prepare for their future characterization according to the ISO 639-3 standard.
All tasks, required skills, and application procedures are detailed in l’offre de stage.

Bibliographic Research on Video Games and Skills
As part of the participatory research project “Video Games and Skills,” ITI LiRiC is collaborating with Alsace Digitale (an association promoting innovation and responsible digital technology in Alsace) and the LiLPa (Linguistics, Languages, Speech) laboratory at the University of Strasbourg, which studies language and communication practices in their social, cultural, and technological contexts.
The internship will focus on creating a structured and well-documented bibliography on the relationship between video games and skills acquisition, drawing from both scientific literature and resources from the video game and education sectors.

This internship provides a concrete example of what the Institute for Sustainability at the University of Strasbourg will be able to offer. It perfectly illustrates the collective ambition behind the creation of the Institute:
- Connecting laboratories with socio-economic actors,
- Establishing the university as a leading living lab for all aspects of sustainability,
- Promoting participatory research practices that benefit the region.
The Institute will support this type of networking—between companies, local authorities, and associations—and foster the development of high-impact internships, whether conducted in laboratories, in professional settings, or both.
